On Friday, 16 August 2019, the Clicks Helping Hand Trust (the Trust) will hold a Women’s Day breakfast event at the One&Only Hotel to celebrate legendary moms, sisters, friends, colleagues and employees who touch lives every day while raising funds for their mothers and babies flagship programme.
The Moms & Babies programme empowers mothers and babies by making medicine and healthcare accessible to those who need it at no charge.
Headlining the event will be female game-changers including; Portia Mngomezulu, Liezel van der Westhuizen, Rachel Kolisi, Ingrid Jones and Ntokozo Sithole.
South Africa has experienced a surge in demand for equality and safety for women and children. The Trust, which is at the forefront, is best placed to lead the charge.
Said Renee Thompson, Clicks Transformation Manager; “This year’s event is the first of its grandeur. We are grateful to the One&Only and Spier Wines for their generosity in contributing so immensely to this phenomenal event. We will be celebrating women from all walks of life; the trail-blazers and the change makers, and we are more than thrilled to be walking alongside corporates who share the same values as we do.”
The event will take its place in the Clicks calendar as a standing, annual event. The day’s programme will be educational, elegant and entertaining, with a high dosage of fun
