An innovative, unique, and exciting new plant-based culinary consulting service has been launched in the Western Cape that promises to revolutionise the way we look at and consume food.
Plant-Based Creative (PBC) is the brainchild and passion project of well-known South African food personality Tamsin Snyman, who has taken her many years of experience within the world of cuisine and coupled it with an intensive amount of careful research and product development to create her plant-based offerings.
Central to Plant-Based Creative is a personalised consulting service whereby Tamsin herself will come to your home and assess what you currently stock in your kitchen, and consume on a regular basis, and advise you on plant-based alternatives that are not only delicious, but also good for you, and the planet too.
“I am beyond excited to be launching Plant-Based Creative to market after months of planning and preparation. I can’t wait to help family’s transition to a more plant-based way of eating and show that it can in fact be tastier than the traditional versions that so many people are accustomed to.”
Plant-Based Product Range
In tandem with the consulting service, Plant-Based Creative also offers a range of plant-based artisanal foods featuring a variety of sweet and savory goodies. Included in this range are a superfood Bliss Ball Collection, Peanut Butter Cups, Trillionaire Shortbread, and Cashew Nut Chocolate Mousse. On the savory side, there are power-packed Veggie Burgers, Vegan Mayonnaise, Red Pepper Shakshuka, and Orange & Almond Granola – to name a few.
“I wanted to create a family-friendly range of foods that are not only good for you and the planet but also exciting to eat – making it easy for people to adapt to plant-based foods and get the kids to also start eating these healthier alternatives. No one has to feel that they are compromising on taste or enjoyment when it comes to the PBC range, and in fact, children are crazy for the products – particularly the sweet treats and the burgers,” says Tamsin. “I want people to be eager to embark on their plant-based journey.”
“I have personally and painstakingly sourced all the ingredients in the food range (which are planet-friendly and gentle on the environment) from the best local suppliers, and all of the packaging have been carefully selected to be 100% recyclable.”
