  • Practice respiratory etiquette: Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of used tissues properly and avoid close contact with individuals displaying symptoms of illness.
  • Stay away from sick individuals: Minimise close contact with people who are ill, especially if they have respiratory symptoms. If you are feeling unwell, consider staying home to prevent the spread of illness to others.
  • Keep your environment clean: Regularly clean and disinfect frequently-touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops. This helps eliminate germs that may cause illness.
