African-based Crypto University was awarded the Reminato Sponsorship. The initiative was spearheaded by Grey Jabesi, Chairman and Founder of Crypto University, and his executive team.
The sponsorship aims to promote blockchain and cryptocurrency education by providing affordable online learning courses for all, focusing specifically on students coming from developing nations in Africa and Asia.
Remitano is a product of Babylons Solutions Limited based in Seychelles. It is a peer-to-peer Bitcoin marketplace that supports buying and selling of cryptocurrency. Offering a robust escrow service, with necessary safety standards in place, buyers and sellers can store, trade, and withdraw assets cross-border without hassles. Launched in 2016, Remitano makes cryptocurrency accessible to countries such as, but not limited to: Vietnam, Malaysia, Nigeria, India, South Africa, Singapore, Cambodia, Kenya, Ghana, and Pakistan.
Since the beginning of the cryptocurrency boom, Remitano has served as the platform for developing nations to adopt cryptocurrencies and make money with Bitcoin trading. In response to the challenges brought on by 2020, Remitano launched its mission to provide employment opportunities for crypto enthusiasts. Now, users can participate, on a freelance basis, in community-building projects that reward them with passive cryptocurrency earnings.
“We believe that blockchain technology is one of the most important technologies of our time. It will fundamentally change how human beings interact across the globe and we don’t believe that anybody should be left behind”, says Jabesi.
Crypto University designs easy to understand courses about trading and investing in cryptocurrency, as well as offers basic training on the fundamentals of blockchain technology. Through this sponsorship Crypto University will develop a module where people can learn how to become traders on Remitano and earn a living online.
Among trading and investing courses, Crypto University also offers a free Introduction to Blockchain Technology Course in partnership with Celo.org, as well as a free cryptocurrency beginners’ course aimed at empowering women.
