1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a travel addict, I have travelled to Mozambique, Angola, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Zanzibar, Spain, France, UK and I am always dreaming of my next travel fix. On the road, I consume a lot of digital content and Ted Talks are my favourite. I express myself through fashion and collect art.
2. What work do you do?
I head up Digital Marketing at The Capital Hotels, Apartments, and Resorts.
3. How long have you been in the industry?
I have worn the marketing hat in Travel and hospitality, retail, and banking over the last 2 decades.
4. Has your work always been your passion? Tell us why?
I have always loved marketing but especially digital. I love storytelling and the best marketing shapes behavior, inspires, and shifts conversations.
5. Being a woman in the industry – what does it take?
Drive, passion, and focus.
6. What has been the most difficult challenge of your career?
Keeping up with the ever-changing landscape and trying to make the best choices from competing viable options.
7. What advice do you have for other women in your industry?
Marketing is such a broad field; focus on the area you enjoy and build up a skill set so that work becomes fulfilling and you find joy in the everyday.
8. Plans for the future?
Continuously grow, become a global citizen, and work from anywhere in the world.
